Which stretch are …
Which stretch are you fishing here? I usually fish church deeps near shawes arms off london road in preston. Fished closer to the bridge yesterday as level was up and had some really good sized roach. Largest was 1lb 2oz. Any advice on chub fishing in this stretch please?

can you not catch pike in river ribble ? im onlly 12 and starting to become a little fishermann (:: i started about 5 months agoo and onlyy really fishh in lochs, can i use a spinner in river ribble , i only live in lostock hall aswell in preston some1 tab back to me ASAP plzz thankss

Hi, thanks for the comment. There does seem to be some difference between rivers in the US and the UK. What you see is only a suggestion, and the video was designed to explore the various possibilities for river fishing. Thanks for the info on your style, its always interesting to know. Hi Alan i live in S. Ontario most of the rivers and creeks here are faster than the Ribble – most interesting difference between your style and ours seems to be you use longer rods and lighter line – norm here would be a 10-11ft rod with say 6lb test – enjoyed the vid, thanks
