Boating on Lake Shasta
Posted by admin
Via the Shasta Dam’s walls was born a reservoir that was called Lake Shasta. The lake is the third biggest in California following Salton Sea and Lake Tahoe. It is roughly 500 feet deep lake, turning it into famous for boating activities such as fishing and various water sports.
For an unforgettable and pleasant holiday, travelers from south of Oregon and North Carolina would hire boats from the lake Shasta where they may spend their spare time on a unwinding environment drifting and cruising around when do fishing, read their favorite novels, or playing games. All at once, they may still take pleasure in the lovely panorama of nature around Lake Shasta such as the Pit Arm, Sacramento, and McCloud.
When you adore fishing, then numerous things are waiting for you here. In fact, some fifty thousand species of fishes are bred yearly in this lake by the Department of Game and Fish. Thus, there is a guarantee that you may catch many fish. One of the famous fish breeds at this place is the King Salmon that is 2-12 pounds in weight. But be conscious of the months of catching this kind and other breeds of fishes. For example, the King Salmon are typically often caught between March and September.
The many arms of Shasta Lake give people who are not familiar with the area the impression they are seeing several lakes as they travel Interstate 5 near Redding, California. Whether on the water or camping by the shore, Shasta Lake has a unique and inviting spirit just waiting to turn your visit into great memories.

I know lake Shasta very well. My favorite resort that does have showers is Antlers RV park and campground, #(530)238-2322. Antlers has everything that you could need including a store, boat rental, camping and RV spaces. There is another campground just called Antlers that does not have showers, so don’t mix up the two places. You will need to make reservations BTW.
