@sawrestler1313 Only big streamers in the fall. #8 Golden Stones and #14 Hares Ear or Pheasant Tail are all you need in the Winter. Sometimes in the winter you can run into a midge hatch, and any #22-#28 cdc midge pattern works.

@Fisherboy86 Yeah same..summer and spring arnt the brightest times to go man :/. But would you prefer any certain nymphs or drys to fish in the winter ad fall?

@sawrestler1313 Not really. Maybe 10 times a year. Mostly in the winter, once in the Spring or Summer. That one trip in the Spring or Summer usually reminds me of why I fish it during the Winter.

@sawrestler1313 Plenty of trout in all sizes. The water level really depends on how good it is. The guys who fish it alot prefer the winter, as do I. The state record brook trout was taken from the Trophy Trout section.

@sawrestler1313 Yes. There are quite a few Fishing Creeks in Pa, but this is the one that runs by Lamar.

I grew up and Gettysburg and My family has a cabin around Loganton. I fished many areas of Fishing creek and it is a great location! I have not been there in years – currently living in Detroit – but it makes me want to get back. Thanks for sharing the video!

For such tiny, baby fish, would it not be more efficient to simply net them? I believe the Italians use a very fine-mesh throwing net, for sardines, you should try it.

Please use barbless …
Please use barbless hooks in the future, and handle the fish for a shorter time (15 seconds max) I’ve fished all of these streams, but please show more respect to the fish. Great video!! and thanks for releasing!
